A big leap in our HDX SoC initiative, taking ‘Receiver for Linux’ to the next level of performance, functionality, a greatly improved user experience and better integration options for partners. This release provides enhanced experience with the latest XenDesktop 7.1.

ARMHF Platform support – following the industry trend for ARM, we have added the support for ARMHF platform along with the existing ARMEL version

Platform Optimization SDK for x86 and ARM – enable ecosystem partners and customers to develop the plugins for further HDX acceleration in hardware, in addition to the generic optimizations available in the Receiver.

HDX performance advancements in this release improve the user experience when using productivity apps, viewing multimedia files and during audio and video conference calls. Now the Receiver can process high FPS for 2D and 3D Graphics with partner hardware accelerated plugin and other generic optimizations, stretching the server limits even from a low power device. Under the hood flow control, multithreading and UDP audio greatly improve the audio and video conference experience. Support for client side content fetching in HDX Mediastream maximizes the server and network scalability for multimedia delivery.

New self-service UI offers the option for self-service access to apps and desktops in the same manner as other Citrix Receivers, with the option to customize the UI as per your needs. Additionally, we provide the SDK to build your own user experience using our graphics assets and guidelines. The Kiosk mode in self-service UI enables partners to build the thin client experience just by setting few parameters.
