Our business in Europe is expanding, and it’s time we rethink how we address the ever increasing demand from customers and partners for learning about our mobile workstyles vision and solutions. At the crossroads of mobility, collaboration, virtualization, networking, and cloud – our need to reach more people, influencers, and customers has never been greater.
I am excited to announce a new approach for our customer conference strategy in Europe for 2013. For the past few years, we’ve been hosting a single, annual Citrix Synergy conference for the European market. We’ve heard loud and clear the need for wider market coverage, more localized content and peer networking, less travel time requirements, and greater multi-date flexibility for executive attendees.
In response to this market need, our new approach will be to host multiple customer conferences across Europe throughout the year – from Citrix Executive Insights invitation-only forums to larger Citrix Mobility conferences. I strongly believe that the growing European markets are now best served by a regional series format rather than by a single-city approach. We are expecting to attract a greater number of customers and partners overall, as well as a greater number of executive-level attendees.
