Hello everyone! It’s time to share more details on one of my favorite aspects of Synergy – the Citrix Innovation Award.

Once again, the Citrix Innovation Award will highlight how a company uses Citrix mobile workstyles and cloud services technology to drive true innovation in their business – this can mean everything from inspiring new products and new paths to market, to rethinking the status quo for how work gets done.  The level of entries we received this time around has been astounding, with great stories of innovation from organizations around the world.

With the nomination process complete, now is the time for you to learn more about the three finalists.  Click here to see their inspiring videos and read the excerpts below:

Datapipe (US): With the growth in demand for cloud services, Datapipe sought to evolve their already successful virtualization platform to meet changing requirements and help their customers do business on the Internet.  Citrix cloud and networking technologies are helping Datapipe drive top line growth and bottom line efficiencies. By taking a flexible approach that includes providing a mix of hardware and software to meet customers’ needs, Datapipe has been able to expand into new markets, achieve strategic growth, and earn recognition from industry analysts  as a major public, private, hybrid and managed cloud services provider.   Datapipe is now a service provider that is well-positioned to help customers deploy “as-a-service” infrastructure as it becomes pervasive.

ITV (UK): As part of ITV’s vision to create and sell content across multiple platforms worldwide, the company has undertaken a major transformation of its technology infrastructure. Using Citrix cloud, networking and virtualization solutions, ITV has built a single storefront to deliver cloud services and enterprise applications to more than 5,000 employees working at headquarters in London, at regional and international offices, and wherever news is happening.  By redefining its approach to technology, ITV is enabling a more mobile, consumer-oriented work experience to help attract top industry talent and give them the tools they need to excel.  This transformation has led to new production process, new creative processes, new scripting and new ways of working to best serve news and entertainment to the public.

Kommunale Informationsverbeitung Baden-Franken (Germany): KIVBF is the biggest public datacenter in Germany.  With solutions for finance management, HR management as well as for industries including utilities and healthcare, they provide IT services to more than 600 cities and counties in southwestern Germany.  Using a full portfolio of cloud, virtualization and networking technologies from Citrix, KIVBF has transformed its environment to completely change the way they serve their customers. Their goal to deliver the apps and services their customers need at the push of a button is the inspiration behind their eGovernment work, and gives them the opportunity to provide leading services to their citizens and to stay ahead.

Voting is now open, so click here to pick your favorite.  As always, the winner will be announced live on stage by Citrix president and CEO Mark Templeton, during his Synergy Keynote on October 18.

Synergy is always best experienced live and in person, so remember – there is still time to sign up to experience insight, innovation and social interaction with Citrix and our partners in Barcelona. We promise to show, tell and demonstrate new solutions for expanded user freedom and choice, greater IT simplicity and enhanced organizational agility.

And finally – if you’re not able to make it to Barcelona , Synergy TV will offer a compelling digital conference experience. The WatchLive! program will stream keynote and breakout sessions from  the conference live online.  SynergyTV on the Go will allow you to relive the best of Synergy on your smartphone or tablet device. With four SynergyTV channels, there’s plenty of opportunity now to explore the many aspects of the top trends in mobile workstyles and the cloud.

I look forward to seeing many of you soon!
